George stopped by to entertain fans this past Friday March 30,2007 at   the Secrest Auditorium in downtown Zanesville, Ohio,  His show consisting of brand new material (so new in fact, that he had to read from his notes part of the time) he had been developing over the last several months had the crowd roaring with laughter.

He talked about politics, religion, taxes, getting old and some of his “Inventions.”

He shared his thoughts on family…telling three related “Family Jokes” as well as what annoys him about talking to people in person or on the telephone…who talk on and on.

Carlin spoke for a little over an hour before leaving the stage. He did not stay to sign autographs which left many fans very disappointed.

Vance Gilbert opened the show with a great sense of humor, an amazing voice and guitar playing that kept the audience captive until he said “Goodbye”
